Last weekend, for Mother's Day, I went up north to Frankfort to visit my Grandma for the first time this year. Although it was very chilly and windy, we went to the beach to watch the sunset and I got some great pictures of Lake Michigan. Since it was so chilly, nobody was in the water which made it easier to get a good landscape image.
On Saturday while we were visiting my grandma, we went on an epic hike leading to Lake Michigan. There was a great look-out spot at the top of a hill that looked onto Lake Michigan, which is where the first picture is from. The second picture was taken when we went down to the beach. These pictures were easy to take, however the hike was more difficult!
These flowers grow on a bush in my backyard during the spring. I really like the spring time because there are so many flowers blooming in my backyard and it's super pretty. These ones are my favorite because they are so vibrant and fun!
These are pictures of the two trees in front of my house. In Summer, they're a vibrant green, but currently they're a little yellow-ish. I had trouble getting these photos because they are right in front of a road, sidewalk, and my house. Luckily, I was able to find two angles that worked perfectly!
Finally, these are some close-ups of some other wildflowers that grow in my backyard. I think it's super cool how random flowers pop-up in random places, it's like a surprise! One difficulty I had taking these picture was the background because it was chaotic and drew attention away from the actual flowers, so I had to get above and take close-ups.
